Discover the terrifying secrets of Old Yharnam in a brand new comic series based on FromSoftware's critically acclaimed horror-action video game!
Awakening in an ancient city plagued by a twisted endemic – where horrific beasts stalk the shadows and the streets run slick with the blood of the damned – a nameless hunter embarks on a dangerous quest in search of Paleblood…
I highly recommend Bloodborne #1. Ales Kot has shown a great love for the game here with a lot of references and understanding that only a fan could bring. Kowalski and Simpson’s art is impeccable. The comic is creepy, gory, and could open new avenues in the story. Fan or not, this one still comes highly recommended. Check it out.
— Bleeding Cool
Everything one would hope for in a Bloodborne comic: confusing beginning, no answers, gorgeous artwork, and solid groundwork.
— Shoot The Breeze Comics
Perhaps surprising no one, putting a good property in the hands of a good writer will yield a good story. Bloodborne is the first video game comic tie-in I’ll recommend, which feels a little odd if I’m being honest. Yet, I’m glad it’s good. The property deserves it because the property is awesome. Enjoy the hunt!
— We The Nerdy
As a die-hard fan of the game series I went into this comic with fairly high expectations... “Bloodborne The Death Of Sleep” really did a fantastic job of bringing me back to the world I loved.
— Comic Crusaders
Kot and Kowalski are not traditional creators and their connection to this material is clear, which in turn makes its resonance more profound. Bloodborne is not only an excellent addition to the franchise it adapts, but to the ouevre of the creators involved.
