Titan Comics’ new RuneScape comic book will reveal the video game’s untold tales!

RuneScape, the hugely popular fantasy gaming IP from leading game developer Jagex, expands into a brand-new comic book series this November from Void Trip writer Ryan O’Sullivan, with artists Sid Kotian (Gambit, The Adventures of Apocalypse Al) and Daniel Bayliss (RuneScape FCBD edition). RUNESCAPE: UNTOLD TALES OF THE GOD WARS is a four-part mini-series published by Titan Comics, and launches with an oversized Issue #1 this October, following a mysterious teaser in Titan’s Free Comic Book Day edition last year – you can download the PDF for free HERE (7.8MB).

Expanding on the fan-favorite God Wars dungeon questline, this new comic book series will delve into the Temple of Lost Ancients, set during the catastrophic and iconic God Wars – where four warring armies fight for control of the Godsword, the only weapon capable of killing a deity. RUNESCAPE: UNTOLD TALES OF THE GOD WARS focuses on Maro, trapped in the center of the conflict, and who dreams of breaking free of his master’s clutches…

RUNESCAPE: UNTOLD TALES OF THE GOD WARS #1 is on sale at comic shops and available to purchase digitally on November 6, 2024. Issue 2 is on sale December 4th. Issue 3 is on sale February 19th. All three issues are available to pre-order now from Diamond PREVIEWS (August, September and October editions), and from Forbidden Planet for UK & Europe. Each physical edition of the comic will include a special game code for 200 Runecoins redeemable on your chosen RuneScape account.

HOW DO I GET MY COMIC STORE TO ORDER EVER ISSUE FOR ME?

You can set up a “pull-list” subscription with your local comic store, which tells the retailer to put aside a copy for you each time a new issue is released, on a rolling basis.

Some retailers will also offer you the option of pulling just the first issue of any new related series, so you can try it before you commit. And, best of all, it means you miss the scrum on New Comic Book Wednesday!
